Hey folks!

I have actually finished the PCT, despite what it seems like if you’ve been reading during the past month.  Woohoo!  I beat the weather!  I am currently greatly enjoying sitting on my mother’s couch, eating, petting the cat, and not walking.

During the past month/month and a half, I began a strong drive toward the end which pushed me to do 750 miles without a zero day.  Basically I couldn’t blog because I would wake up, eat, hike…eat, hike, eat, hike, eat, hike, eat, hike…maybe some more eating and hiking, then eat, and pass out.  The weather held and we took advantage of that and pushed our way to Canada.

Fear not!  I have a great memory and will be writing very soon beginning back from where I left off at Crater Lake in my typical narrative form and continue until the narrative reaches Canada!  Recapping will help me transition from the hiker trash lifestyle to the ski bum lifestyle that I’m packing for right now.  I apologize for the delay and I hope you all are still enjoying the story.  I thought my mom did an excellent job in the meantime, especially while Washington gave me many solid kicks in the ass.

Stay tuned 🙂
